Dr. Pat

     Dr. Patricia Jo Ryan, a licensed Psychologist since 1981. She is an Associate Fellow and an Approved Supervisor of the Albert Ellis Institute, the originator of Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy. She provides a wide variety of psychological services for children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Ryan added another specialization, EEG Biofeedback, also know as Neurofeedback and Neurotherapy, in 1998.

     Additional biofeedback services, such as Heart Rate Variability (HRV) are also featured as a value-added service. Both traditional (REBT) talk therapy, and Neurotherapy/Biofeedback are blended to provide a more robust benefit to the counseling overall. Additional family services, parent coaching and family counseling are available as needed.

     Dr. Ryan holds a permanent certification as a School Psychologist, certification as a neurotherapist, taught undergraduate psychology for twelve years, and currently teaches clinical techniques to graduate students.

     She was the Child and Family Coordinator of an acute alcohol treatment center and has conducted numerous assessments, both clinical and educational for the last 30 years.

     Dr. Ryan is a member in good standing of the American Psychological Association and the Florida Psychological Association. She has held several offices in the local chapter of FPA.

     Dr. Ryan strongly believes in maintaining her skills through on-going attendance at national conferences and specialty workshops.
